<<< That's me, Gayla Rockwell, the owner and photographer behind Rockwell Photography. I've been in business for well over a decade now - what a ride (and a blessing) it has been! I'm so happy that you decided to pop in and see what I'm all about.

I am a native Nevadan and grew up here in the Elko area. Photography has given me such a wonderful outlet to connect with and serve those around us - I love our community and working with the amazing young men and women that it is producing!

Fun facts about me: I would rather have camera gear than fancy jewelry, I adore a good road trip, I'm in awe of beautiful light or sunsets, I love to binge watch PureFlix, and I am a live music junkie.

1) When and where do sessions take place?

I shoot at a wide variety of locations all over the greater Elko area, but the final choice is up to you! I usually present the best options based on each client's style and preferences and then we work together to select the perfect location for you.

My sessions are scheduled on weekdays, typically Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. We usually aim to shoot in the hours before sunset.

2) What is the investment?

I'm excited to be offering three different package options to serve different types of clients. I offer the traditional Senior Experience that includes a longer session with more variety, in-person appointments, and all of the bells and whistles. We require a session retainer to secure your date and time.

3) What type of editing is included?

I completely edit and retouch each final image that clients receive. Editing is an important part of the artistic process and I strive for a clean and bold editing style that leaves YOU as the focus of each image. My standard retouching process includes artistic editing in addition to blemish removal, skin smoothing, and any other basic retouching deemed necessary. Special requests beyond standard retouching may incur an additional fee.

4) Do you offer digital files?

Yes! Digital files are available for purchase through our flexible collections. All digital files purchases come with a print release for unlimited personal printing up to size 8x12.
